बागपत, १६ मार्च:  “राज्यपालांना काहीच काम नसतं. काश्मीरमध्ये जे राज्यपाल असतात ते तर नेहमी दारु ढोसत बसतात” असे वादग्रस्त विधान गोव्याचे राज्यपाल सत्यपाल मलिक यांनी केलं आहे. यापूर्वी ते जम्मू आणि काश्मीरचे राज्यपाल होते. उत्तर प्रदेशातील बागपत येथे रविवारी एका जाहीर कार्यक्रमात ते बोलत होते.

सत्यपाल मलिक हे माजी भाजपा नेते असून २०१८-१९ मध्ये जम्मू आणि काश्मीर राज्याचे राज्यपाल होते. सन २०१७ मध्ये मोदी सरकारच्या पहिल्या कार्यकाळात मलिक यांच्यावर बिहारच्या राज्यपालपदाची जबाबदारी सोपवण्यात आली होती. त्यानंतर त्यांची बदली जम्मू आणि काश्मीरच्या राज्यपालपदी करण्यात आली होती. दरम्यान, कलम ३७० हटवल्यानंतर मलिक यांची गोव्याच्या राज्यपालपदी नियुक्ती करण्यात आली.
