भोपाळ, ३० ऑक्टोबर: आपल्या वादग्रस्त वक्तव्यामुळे कठोर कारवाई करत निवडणूक आयोगाने (Election Commission) काँग्रेसचे नेते आणि मध्य प्रदेशचे माजी मुख्यमंत्री कमलनाथ (Kamal Nath) यांचे नाव काँग्रेस पक्षाच्या स्टार प्रचारकांच्या यादीतून वगळले आहे. निवडणूक आयोगाचा हा निर्णय काँग्रेस पक्षाला मान्य नसून आयोगाच्या या निर्णयाविरोधात काँग्रेस पक्ष आता कोर्टाचे दार ठोठावणार आहे.

निवडणूक आयोगानं कमलनाथ यांचा स्टार प्रचारक दर्जा काढून घेतल्यानंतर म्हटलं की, “यापुढे जर कमलनाथ यांनी एकही प्रचारसभा केली तर त्याचा संपूर्ण खर्च हा त्या मतदारसंघातील उमेदवाराकडून वसूल केला जाईल.”

कमलनाथ यांनी भाजपाच्या उमेदवार इमरती देवी यांना आयटम असे संबोधले होते. यावरून वाद होताच त्यांनी मला नाव आठवत नव्हते, म्हणून आयटम म्हटल्याची सारवासारव केली होती. तसेच मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान यांना नौटंकी कलाकार असेही म्हटले होते. या दोन्ही वक्तव्यांविरोधात भाजपाने निवडणूक आयोगाकडे तक्रार केली होती. यावर निव़डणूक आयोगाने ही कारवाई केली आहे.
